Was late in hearing of Roger's passing, and I am saddened.  When it came to commitment, Roger had no equal.  He was uniquely his own, and for that, I have only respect and admiration.

Dad, last 5 years were tough but the bond remained. You always stressed INVICTUS when you said "You are the MASTER of your FATE, the CAPTAIN of your SOUL". For years I never understood the tough lessons you made me learn; but now, like so many people you have touched, I get it....never stop reaching/achieving for there is someone who wants what you have achieved. I will see you someday and we can resolve all the business we left unattended. Until then, look after the Eyrolles family and all the friends you touched. You and John will make quite the pair ENSURING all is right and the world as we know it remains just and righteous. Honestly Rodger was the biggest mentor through high school. I can remember him calling you and talking to you for hours about baseball, life, school. On days it would rain we still stayed and sat there listening to him talk. It not only changed your knowledge of the game but it changed you as a person. He was tough at practice but it worked. He changed me for the better and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about how he changed my life.  My condolences.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Eyrolles family.  Although a little rough around the edges at times, Roger had a positive impacton the young men he coached up to the end of his rein as the Baldwin Legion baseball coach.    He succeeded in teaching them the importance of hard work and tried to shape them to be awesome baseball players and fine young men asking for nothing in return.  Thank you Roger, you will always be remembered.  Rest in peace.

So sorry and saddened to hear about the loss of my former baseball coach and mentor.  He truely was a great man and treated all of us like we were his own kids.  He never stopped looking after us, even well after we left his team.  Truely an inspirational figure with an unbelievebale knowledge of the game.  One pitch at a time coach.  Rest in peace.

To a man who had as much influence on me as anybody in my life....

To this day, many of the players from the '92 and '93 Colt baseball teams are still in awe of how much influence Roger had on our development in dimensions that went far beyond baseball.  Roger was a great man and a great mentor who will be missed dearly.

My condolences to the Eyrolles family.  I had the privilege of being one of many of Roger's players in Colt baseball.  He was a very good man and will be sorely missed.

Our prayers and love are with Susan, Aubrey and Roger, Jr. and Jean, Dolores and the Eyrolles family. Roger was such a kind hearted man and so knowledgeable about so many things. He was like a walking newspaper, was up to date on everything.  Bob and I will miss him stopping by.He and Bob would talk for hours about anything and everything.  He is at peace now..

My heart goes out to Susan, Aubrey, and the Eyrolles family and friends. Roger was a good man whom cared much to help others. As with John, they both will be sadly missed, but greatly remembered.

I am going to miss Roger as much as I miss his late son, John. Roger was a great man with a huge heart. I am happy knowing that he is in heaven with his son and is no longer in any pain.
