Robert Walter Schmidt "Schmidty", age 55, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021. Robert was born December 18, 1965 in Pittsburgh to the Late Robert and Lyla (Fike) Schmidt.
He was the father to Katelyn Schmidt and Brittany Schmidt. Brother to Connie (late James) Holko and uncle to Brandon, Cory and Alyssa. He will also be missed by his best friend Joe "Kid" Kraus.
Robert attended North Hill High School class of 1984 and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He enjoyed playing softball for the Allison Park Church softball league, bowling and golf.
Robert was a true Pittsburgh Patriot Yinzer who loved his hometown and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.
