Lloyd W. Wright, age 92, of Franklin Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 25, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved father to Terrence "Terry" (Gwendolyn) Wright, Deborah "Debbie" (Carl) Gigler; loving grandfather to four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Lloyd was a member of Ingomar United Methodist Church, VFW Westview Post 2754, Moose, and Eagles. Lloyd was a life member of Elks lodge #2249, Masonic Order, Northside Sportsman Club and Millvale Sportsman Club. An US Air Force Veteran, Lloyd served during WWII and had flown in 35 missions.
He is preceded in death by his parents Nevin and Mary (Hague) Wright; and wife Betty(Ohler) Wright. In lieu of flowers, family ask that donations be made to Save Our Seabirds or to Allegheny Camp Cadet in Lloyd's memory.
Friends will be received Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. (412-364-4444), where services will be held Tuesday at 11am. Full military honors will be held at Ingomar cemetery.
