Jerry F. Etter

Jerry F. Etter a long time resident of Avalon, PA peacefully passed away on November 5, 2024. Jerry was born in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Fred and Cleo (Mueller) Etter. He was married to his loving late wife Elizabeth Ann (Slipski) Etter for 52 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Richard (Laura) Lesick, Darlene Bowser, Sharon (Kevin) Ruffing and Kimberly (Adam) Fantauzzi. Jerry was the proud grandfather of Gary (Kelli) Marree, Mandy (Eric) Tattershall, Josh (Krystal) Lesick, Tyler (Katie) Marree, Kaylee Sayers, Connor Sayers, Carina Fantauzzi, Luke Fantauzzi and great grandpap to Jack Marree, Kelsea Tattershall and Lily Marree.

Jerry was a hard working Pittsburgher who retired from the Steamfitters Union local 449 after 35 years.

He will be Remembered for his unwavering love for his family, and will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, and all who knew him. Jerry enjoyed life to its fullest whether it be boating, camping, skydiving, water skiing or playing cards. He was the former President of the Greater Pittsburgh Aquatic Club.

Friends are invited to the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy Pittsburgh PA 15237 on Monday November 11, 2024 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM. A Catholic Blessing Service will take place on Tuesday at 11AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
