James C. Barnes

James Charles Barnes, born September, 30th 1959, a cherished husband, father, brother, and successful businessman, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2024 at the age of 64 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was a resident of McCandless Township.

Jim's memory will be honored by his loving wife, Rita, and their two daughters, Jacqueline (Alexander) Macedonia and Michelle (Parker) Jennette. Jim's legacy also extends to his sisters, Marcia Seidle (David Bugna) and Ann (Al) Bracalielly, and a wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother, Mark and is the beloved son of the late Charles and Kathleen Barnes.

Jim was the proud owner of Network Access for 35 years, a successful business he built through hard work and constant dedication. He loved vacationing with family and friends and especially enjoyed spending cold Pittsburgh winters in sunny Marco Island, FL. Jim was known for his active lifestyle and his zest for life, always eager to embrace new experiences and adventures. He lived life to the fullest, never wanting to miss out on opportunities to spend time with friends and family.

Jim's life was marked by his love for his family, his passion for travel, and his commitment to his work. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 2:00PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brandt Funeral Home, located at 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 where a service will be conducted on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM.

Entombment will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
