Elsie L. Case

Elsie L. (Pfizenmaier) Case, age 90, a native of Brooklyn, New York, who has resided in Gibsonia for many years, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 22, 2017. She is the beloved wife of sixty-three years to Richard R. Case; the cherished mother of Laurie Ellen Moore (husband John) of Orland Park, Illinois, Rick Chamiec-Case (wife Mary) of Sandy Hook, Conneticut and Karen Figan (husband Carl) of Franklin Park, Pennsylvania; proud Grandma of Janelle and Jonathan, Linda, Anna and Elizabeth, Julie, Christine and Mark and Great-Grandma of Alexa Rae; sister of Fred Pfizenmaier, Margaret Brennan and the Late Helen Jindra. Family and friends will be received from 5 until 8 PM Sunday at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township, (412-364-4444), where services will be held on Monday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park.

Elsie had a deep Christian Faith and was also deeply devoted to her family. She wrote many a poem about her family life and each wonderful moment spent with them. She was a tireless"Volunteer" who sincerely reached out to help others given her love and compassion for everyone she encountered. Elsie was blessed in so many ways and a blessing to all.
