Elizabeth Louise Bobiak, age 95, passed away on October 19, 2024 at Concordia of Cranberry in Mars, PA with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Born on February 16, 1929, to Gennaro and Cecelia (Koski) Panno, Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend at the time of her passing.
Betty graduated from Stowe High School and married her high school sweetheart, Lambert Bobiak. She was a lifelong member of St. John of God Parish (Mother of Sorrows Church) in McKees Rocks, PA. Betty dedicated 26 years of service to the Sto-Rox School District in McKees Rocks. Betty was known for her kind, loving, thoughtful, and generous nature. Her five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren were the joys of her life, illuminating her days with their presence and conversations.
Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband Lambert of 62 years, her sister Mary Jane O’Neill (Richard), her brother Joseph Panno, and her parents. She is survived by her son, Lee Bobiak of St. Petersburg, FL; her daughter Kathryn J. Liermann (James); sister, Florence Miller; sister-in-law, Shirley Panno; her cherished grandchildren, Nichole Thel (Chris), Kimberly Harper (Jason), Kelly Mahan (Chris), Michelle Mahan (Kevin), and Douglas Bobiak (Mary Allison), and 14 great grandchildren.
An avid traveler, she and Lambert enjoyed numerous trips during their retirement, most memorably to Hawaii and Hilton Head, SC, creating numerous lasting memories.
Friends will be received on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA. 15237 where a service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Betty will be entombed in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Coraopolis.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to Concordia of Cranberry, 10 Adams Ridge Blvd, Mars, PA 16046.
