Edna Marie Overcashier

Edna Overcashier lived a life of nearly 99 years and for nearly 69 years was the wife to Don, the love of her live, now deceased. With loved ones close by, that life ended on the morning of January 1, 2018. She was the loving mother to Donna Herbold, Peter, Jan and Scott Overcashier and their respective spouses: Art (deceased), Karen, Mary Beth and Debbie. She is also survived by seven beloved grandchildren: Lisa, Morgan, Natalie, Jeremy, Lee, Grant and Alex; great grandchildren Megan, Emma, Carter and Jackson and two great-great grandchildren, Jamaya

and Jamil. She was predeceased by her brother and two sisters; John, Ida May and Trudy, and two sons, Eric and infant son Stephen. Edna, a woman of intelligence, wit and style, was always a book lover and carried that love of reading into retirement by volunteering for many years at Northland public library. Another favorite pastime was bridge which, up until this past spring, she played twice a week. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
