Dorothy Eileen (Anderson) Bracken, 83 of Ross Twp., passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015. She was born July 26, 1932 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Charles and Lydia (Grimm) Anderson. Prior to her retirement she was employed in the janitorial staff at numerous downtown buildings, including Oxford Center and Jenkins Arcade. In her free time she volunteered at Kane Regional in Ross Twp. She enjoyed collecting frogs and loved to cheer on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Denise Michaels, as well as a grandson, John Michaels and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Bracken; a brother, Charles Anderson; sisters, Jane Abbinanti and Lydia Thompson and a niece, Sandra Mueller.
