Clara Rose Chips

Clara Rose (Campisano) Chips of McCandless passed away peacefully on August 14, 2022. She was 92. Beloved wife of 72 years to Edmond D. Chips. Cherished mother of Kathleen (V. Robert) Agostino, Jeffrey (Sherri) Chips and Janis (Bruno) Konesky. Dear sister of Madelyn (Bernie) Swatchick and Artilio Campisano (deceased) and Rose Marie Gadbois (deceased). Daughter of the late Artilio and Rose Campisano of Vandergrift, PA. She was the precious grandmother of Melanie (Erik) Husk, Carlin Mackewich, Brian (Julie) Chips, Steven Chips, Kelly Chips (Ethan), Neal (Stephanie) Konesky and Scott Konesky. Proud great-grandmother to Philip (Sabrina) Chips, Dylan Osborne, Drake Osborne, Carter and Harper Konesky. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, dear neighbors, and special friends from Silver Sneakers.

Clara and Edmond travelled together across the country and around the world. She loved fireworks, snorkeling, the Pittsburgh Steelers and a full moon that shined just for her. She was devoted to family above all else, celebrating every holiday as a chance to get everyone together for laughter and a good meal. She touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 2:00pm to 5:000 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral home inc. 1032 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, PA 15237
