Bernard F. Jockel, 92, of McCandless Twp., formerly of Oil City, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. He was born on February 7, 1932 to the son of the late Valentine and Elizabeth (Liptak) Jockel.
He was a retired truck driver for the Teamsters Union #249, he had served in the Army during the Korean War and was involved in the surveying of Alaska to make it a state.
Bernard will be remembered as a loving dad, granddad, and great-granddad.
He is survived by his two sons; Bernie (Lori) Jockel, Stevie Jockel, two daughters; Lori Jockel, Connie Lee, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, son-in-law: Carl Francolino, sister-in-law; Nancy Jockel, brother; Ralph (Janet) Jockel, sister; Geraldine Jockel, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter; Elaine Francolino, son-in-law, Tim Lee and Brother; Paul Jockel.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 3:00 PM till time of Life Celebration service at 5:00 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc.
