Linda Lou Jenkins

Riverview, Fla.- Linda Lou Jenkins,71, of Riverview, Fla., formerly of Baileysville, died Friday, February 13th, 2015 in Saint Joseph’s Hospital in River View. Born in Baileysville, WV on June 28th, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha Fortner. Besides her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, Johnny Lee Jenkins. Mrs. Jenkins was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was an employee of Bankers Security Life Insurance Company, of Arlington, VA where she worked for 15 years before retiring in 1995 because of health problems. She is survived by three sons, Johnny Lee Jenkins Jr. and his wife Cindy of St. Cloud, FL, Michael Todd Jenkins and his wife Debbie of Riverview, FL, and Shawn Scott Jenkins and his wife Tammy of Baileysville, WV; one sister Peggy S. Carey Lynn Haven FL; one brother Nick Fortner and his wife Loretta of Brenton, WV; seven grandchildren, Andrea Jenkins of Manassas VA; Megan Jenkins of Roanoke VA; Joshua Johnson of Atlanta GA; Kelsey Jenkins of Riverview FL; and Scott, Shane and Shyan Jenkins of Baileysville WV; two nephews, Dean Carey of Mooresville NC; Luke Blackburn of Brenton WV, and one niece Debbie Burkett of Panama City FL, and a host of extended family members and friends. A short service will be conducted Sunday, February 22th 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Palm Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Matheny with the Rev. Timmy Brewster officiating. Entombment will follow.
