Therese Marie Landry Theriot

As a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she made sure everyone was well-fed and cared for as she loved cooking, gardening, cleaning and sewing. She was a long-time member of the American Legion Landry-Domingue Post #328 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Landry and Donald and Josephine St. Germain and Floyd; one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Nell Theriot; eight grandchildren, Rhonda Cavalier, Terrie Cavalier, Yvette Hebert, Tommy Mabile, Charlet Brignac, Amy Falcon, Candace Jolissaint, and Lori Trotti; twenty-one great-grandchildren, Sarah Goss and Bryce Cavalier; Danielle and Connor Cavalier; Brian and Zachary Hebert; Aaron Aucoin, Grant and Grace Mabile; Hanna Cofield, Maggie and Landon Brignac; Colin, Ava, and Abigail Falcon; Charlie, Alex and Vivian Jolissaint; Katelyn Davis, Luke and Emily Trotti; four great-great-grandchildren, Eleanor Aucoin; Ian and Luke Cavalier; Indy Hebert; two sisters, Bessie Leonard and Effie Landry; and sister-in-law, Allie Theriot.

Preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Weekless Theriot; parents, Willie and Pauline Landry; grandson, Dean Landry; son-in-law, Luke Mabile; and seven siblings, Ines Landry, Willie Landry, Jr., Aubrey Landry, Hayward Landry, Celine Vaughn, Lucy Mae Pipsair and Lou Anna Simoneaux.

Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church celebrated by Fr. Al Davidson. Interment to follow in church mausoleum. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home.
