Mark Daniel Blanchard

Mark was born January 9th, 1955 in the city of Paincourtville, LA to the late Ronald Pierre Blanchard and Cecile Marie Crochet. Mark was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Nicholas Blanchard and stepsister Rhonda Domingue.

Mark was survived by his daughter Angelle Cecilia Jarrard and two grandchildren Sophia Renee Jarrard and Aaron Alexander Gee, five siblings; Marla “Teeto” Guillot (Dean Guillot), Rochelle Blanchard, D’Wanna Ford, Jonathan Blanchard and Deirdre Blanchard. Six stepsiblings; Brent Blanchard, Darla Domingue, Carol Domingue Jr., Troy Domingue, Chad Domingue and Dwayne Domingue.

Although music was his life passion... he enjoyed telling jokes, cooking, making furniture, carpentry, hunting, fishing and camping.

He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him and loved him.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 for 10:00 am until the memorial service for 12:00 pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Father Al Davidson will be officiating.
