Donald Alphonse Charlet

Donald was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He had a passion for gardening and enjoyed planting vegetables. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, he cherished his family and the time he spent with them.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his three children, Donna Couvillion (Darren), Jason Charlet and Nicole Dubois (Renny); six grandchildren, Ashlyn Charlet, Drake Theriot, Jayce Charlet, Kade Theriot, Kole Theriot and Kaitlyn Charlet; one great grandchild, Wesley Charlet; one sister, Mary Ann Aucoin; mother of his three children, Nancy Charlet and long term companion, Jane Gaudet.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Brendan Charlet; parents, Alphonse and Bivian Landry Charlet and one brother, Ronald Charlet.

A visitation will take place at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 10:30am until Prayer Service at 1pm. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Vital Caring Hospice especially nurse Cody and Pastor Colby and Nancy Charlet for their care and support throughout their time of need.
