Shirley Jean Patterson Dunson Easley, South Carolina Shirley Jean Patterson Dunson, 58 wife of Randy Donnie Dunson passed from this life Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital, Eastside. Born in Pickens County, she is a daughter of Bertha Ellen Holcombe Patterson of Liberty and the late Carl Dean Patterson. Shirley loved camping, working in her flower bed, cooking, her family and her little dog Bo. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 41 years, Randy of the home, two sons; Gaston Dunson of Easley, C. B. Dunson (Christie) of Pickens, a daughter; Tabitha Dunson of Easley, seven grandchildren; Taylor Dunson, Tyler Dunson, Sally Trotter, Matthew Trotter, Isaac Dunson, Caden Manley, Alexis Merck, one great granddaughter; Carter Dunson, three brothers; David Patterson of Easley, Gearld Patterson of Pickens, and Bryon Patterson of Easley. Shirley loved Dean Broome and Bonnie Merck like her own children. Mrs. Dunson was predeceased by her father, two brothers; Eugene Patterson, Ronnie Patterson, a sister; Sharon Broome and a sister-in-law; Diane Patterson. Visitation will be 11am until 1pm Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Dillard Funeral Home with the service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 1pm.
