He chose to never marry, but rather care for his sick and aging parents whom he provided a home and cared for until their passing.
Surviving is one sister; Hazel Madden of the home and a nephew raised in the home as a brother; Wayne Madden of Pickens, eight nephews and nieces.
Predeceased are four brothers; Arthur, Claude, Fulton, Grady and one sister; Mildred McWhorter all of Pickens, South Carolina.
Paul worked most of his life at Singer Manufacturing and was of the Baptist Faith.
Family will receive friends Monday, March 16, 2020 from 2pm until 3pm at Dillard Funeral Home. Service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park Pickens, South Carolina.
