Harold Jess Smith

Mr. Smith was born in Greenville County on March 1, 1944 to the late James Daniel and Sadie Zetta Smith. Growing up, he was very active in the Boy Scouts, making it all the way to Eagle Scouts, and this fueled his love for the outdoors that he cherished his whole life through. Mr. Smith loved old cars, especially Studebakers, the mountains, and artwork. He retired from Beverage Air as their Art Director, and developed a love for classic country music, especially Waylon Jennings, and enjoyed traveling to the mountains. Most importantly to Mr. Smith was his family, and he cherished the time he was able to spend with his "three girls".

In addition to his loving wife of 55 years, Mr. Smith is survived by his daughter: Jessica Smith of Easley; a granddaughter: Reagan Fulbright of Easley, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Billy Fulbright; and a brother: Jimmy Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Dillard Funeral Home.

The family is at the residence.
