Willuam  & family , you have my deepest sympathy. I enjoyed working with Grace and the many years we have kept in touch since.  She was a wonderful friend!

Mrs. Reece was my kindergarten teacher at East Pickens in 1971.  She was such a sweet lady and made a huge impact on me.  It was always a pleasure running into her years later as an adult.  I have been a kindergarten teacher for 26 years and hope that I have made the same impact on my students.  My prayers and condolences to the family.

Such precious and fun memories over the years of Ray and Grace and their faithfulness to God, Family, and to their church!  So thankful to have known them and loved them! Grace was a safe harbor for many children in her kindergarten class at Pickens Elementary. Always a warm smile, and a gentle hug for all who crossed the Kindergarten threshold. I have many fond memories of gentle guidance by happy, thoughtful Miss Grace while teaching at PES.

She loved to cook & she loved Dr Holton. She will be missed 

I am sad to hear of Grace’s passing but rejoice in her home going! The laughter in heaven must have increased a thousandfold because Grace was always laughing. She was a great leader, teacher, Christian and friend .

Wow what a lady!   I alway enjoyed seeing Grace and getting to talk with her when she came into the office.   It was like getting to visit with an old friend.   I will always remember her and she will always have a special place in my heart.

To Grace’s family…I am a cousin, but haven’t seen your mom in many years.  As a young girl I remember family birthday dinners for “Grandma Tootie” until she passed away in 1963.  Grace always had a kind word, a hearty laugh, and was genuinely fun to be around.  I’m sure Heaven is a little sweeter for Ray, Aunt Lila and Uncle Walter, and all the other loved ones.  My heart is with you as you go through this time of grief.  God’s Peace to all

So many wonderful memories of "Mama Grace" from my youth!   As a GA leader and chaperone on all of youth mission trips, she impacted many lives with her faith, sense of humor and her joy of living.  I was blessed to be one of those!   Grace and Ray will always hold a special place in my heart.   Praying for you and your family, William.

Ray so sorry to hear about your Mother passing away.  I remember when your mom drove me and my sister. Diane Hutto Grant and Linda Hutto Galloway to SCHOOL. . She was a very nice person.. May The Lord Comfort all of you during this sad time.  She will be missed by alots friends and family 


I am fortunate to have known and loved Mrs Reese as a friend. She shared her recipe for the world's best pound cake with me. I continue to strive to make mine as perfect as hers. She made my birthdays special for years with a freshly baked pound cake. I will miss it. But mostly I will miss her and her laugh. I never had an encounter with her without experiencing her laughter and a smile.
 To her family I pray that God's love and your memories of this beloved lady help you find peace as you grieve.
