David was born in Pickens, SC on July 21, 1936 to the late Ernest Casper and Vera Medlock Garrison. He worked in law enforcement for the Los Angeles Police Department. After coming back to Pickens, he became the owner and operator of Gar-Con Inc. for 32 Years. He loved pulling for his beloved Clemson Tigers baseball team, where he also had played baseball. David was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pickens where he was involved in many mission trips. He also attended Liberty United Methodist Church.
Mr. Garrison is survived by his brother Dan Garrison.
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his wife Ruth Nealy Garrison, his daughter Lynn Garrison, and one brother Dr. Don C Garrison.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2:00PM in the Mausoleum Chapel at Hillcrest Memorial Park with an entombment to follow.
The family is at their respective homes.
