William Michael Grady

William Michael Grady, 77, passed away September 25, 2024 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born December 5th, 1946, to Henry and Frances Grady in Dallas, Texas. Michael grew up in Lubbock, Texas and graduated from Lubbock High School. When Michael was young he worked in his parent’s bakery and shared many stories and recipes about his love for that over the years. He then moved to Arizona in 1969 and started work with Sigler & Faigen as one of their computer programmers. Michael also worked for American Express in their Travel Finance department until retiring in 2012.

Michael married the love of his life, Lois Marie Tissier November 7th, 1976, in Phoenix, Arizona. They were married until her passing in September 2019. His parents, Henry and Frances Grady, daughter Deborah Reeder (1997), and son Duffy Grady (2020) also precede him in death.

Michael is survived by his son Todd Grady (Tina), daughters Jessica Grady, and Erica Owen (Ron). He also has 13 wonderful grandchildren (Brandon, McKinna, Ryan, Miranda, Marena, Alexis, Samantha, Tatum, Victoria, Hannah, Alexander, Dylan, and Madison) and 13 beautiful great grandchildren (Danni, Zachari, Trevor, Austin, Payton, Elizabeth, Toreana, Lylah, Lillian, Hayden, Hudson, Addison, and one due March 2025. He is also survived by his three brothers, David Grady (Kay), Richard Grady, and Joe Grady (Karen), along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Michael deeply loved all of his family far and wide.

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 there will be two services in remembrance of Michael Grady. The first of which will be the interment of his ashes at 10am. This will take place at Dignity Memorial 719 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85009, section 7ml.

Later that day, there will be a memorial service at All Saints Lutheran Church, 15649 N 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85022 at 2pm. There will be a reception following until 4pm. Friends and Family are welcome to attend one or both.
