Thinking of You as You honor Your Mother. 
I'll always have fond memories of Sandy. She was a wonderful Sister-in-Law and aunt to Khristina. She was very proud of her children and grand children.   
I hope this poem brings comfort to you in a time of loss, 
She is in the sun, the wind, the rain. She is in the air you breathe with every breath you take. She sings a song of hope and cheer,
There's no more pain, no more fear. You'll see her in the clouds above, Hear her whisper words of love. You will be together before long.  Until then, listen to her song.
Hold on to her memories and try to smile as you reminisce special times with your Mom.  I will remember her always. I am sorry Khris and I cannot be there.  We are truly sorry for Your loss.

Sissie had just turned seven a couple months before our father died. Tommy's 9th birthday was 2 weeks before.   Mom and I went to work doing whatever we could do support the family.  What I want to say to Sandy (Sissie).     I was young without knowledge of how much more it would have meant to you if we would have had play time.  I was concerned about getting you to school.  Sewing the belts on your dresses that seemed to be loose every day you came home from school.   I learned when you were 7 that you did not see color in people.   You and little Lois Ferrel had only one lolly pop and you took turns licking it as you rode and sit together on the school bus.  I told Mom because I was worried about you or her catching germs from each other. It had nothing to do with color. Mom and I laughed and told your story  many times.   As a young adult you enriched our life when brought a baby daughter into a childless home.  I wonder if you knew how much you were still  loved when we gave all our attention to Kimberly.    I will always be missing you.  Though the kids are grown and on their own I promise to be here for them.  If they are ever in need I will do everything humanly possible to help them.   There were things you wanted to accomplish that you were not able to.  You gave a great gift to the world when you gave birth to 3 that have a giving heart just like you and our parents. You would be in awe if you watched them put your memorial together as I watched.     It shocked me a little when I asked Mike something about plans and his reply was, "Ask Rich, he's the boss."....  How close the brothers are!    I heard you through the night on your final weeks.  You were talking to Mom.  I like to believe you saw her outstretched arms beside  Jesus when you went to your final sleep.    I am going to miss you Sis!  Only God knows how much.  Thank you for never wavering from your principals and morals no matter what the cost when it came to the kids.  

Thank you Aunt Sandy for all the fun summer weekends we spent together ❤ when I was  child.  May you rest peace. Love you.

Our famlies were neighbors in Pennsylvania in the 1950s and we became family when your sister married my brother. I have always considered you as my sister. You will be missed. Kim, Rich, Mike and the rest of the family thank you for being there for Sandy in her final days. Love❤  to all of you and sorry we can't be there.❤❤
