Roman Salazar Sr.

Our father Roman Salazar went from being a farm worker to spending 34 years at the Maricopa County Highway Department. He was married to Cecilia Salazar for more than 50 years. Together they raised four children. Roman was very proud of his first house that he worked hard to purchase and harder to keep. He was a born again Christian. Roman spent his Sunday mornings at church, Sunday afternoons cheering on the Cleveland Browns and his Sunday evenings dancing at the American Legion. Roman is survived by his wife Linda Lopez; children Ruben, Steve (wife Jennifer) and Roman (wife Josie); grandchildren Sonya Hernandez (husband Isaac), Alex, Nicole, Tiana and Brenden; Great grandchildren Enoch, Elijah and Bailey. Roman is preceded in death by his first wife, Cecilia Salazar and his oldest son, David.
