Robert C. Hernandez

Robert Chavez Hernandez, 63, of Phoenix, Arizona drifted into heaven on January 28, 2023. Robert was born in Bellflower, California on July 28, 1959 to Vincent and Teresa Hernandez. He grew up in Tolleson and attended Tolleson High School.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; children Gabriel, Eva, Jason and Eric; father, Vincent; brother, Santos; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

Robert was lucky enough to marry the love of his life, Bobbie. They loved living life together. Robert accepted Bobbie’s two children Jason and Eric as his own. Robert loved to camp, fish, and go ATV riding, always discovering neat locations along the trails. These discoveries included old Indian ruins, mine shafts, hot springs, and the beautiful views the great outdoors has to offer. His absolute joy and happiness was spending time doing these activities with his grandchildren. He always felt memories made with his grandchildren were priceless. Memories made at Alamo lake, Happy Jack, and San Diego just to name a few. A diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, game day brought many cheers and tears.

Robert has touched the lives of many as a Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend, his memories will last in everyone’s hearts.

A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Maryvale, 6901 West Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85033.

A "Celebration of life" will occur Friday, February 10, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Maryvale.
