Rex was raised in Star Valley, Wyoming, and always considered it his home. Rex served in World War 11, but was never called abroad. Rex was a peacemaker by nature, very positive, and uplifting. He loved people, was a good friend, always helping others, and sharing his knowledge with everyone. One of his favorite sayings was “ A stranger is a friend you never met” and “Everyone is entitled to my opinion.” Rex was a wonderful loving husband, caring deeply for his wife June, and helping her with her every need, which made their love for each other grow daily.
Rex was a carpenter by trade helping to build the Hells Canyon Dam and the gun factory, Freedom Arms, and in his later years loved and practiced the healing arts. Rex had many interests, inventing, hypnotherapy, firearms, drawing, photography, rock hounding, yard sales, dancing, singing, dining out, and socializing.
He is survived by his wife June and her son John and (Penny) Willey and daughter Debbie Willey (deceased).

Funeral services will be held in the Auburn/Grover/Meadow Chapel Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 1:00 pm. Viewing will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Afton, Wyoming, following the service.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013, in Tempe, Arizona, at 1:00 pm, at the LDS Church, on the corner of College and Alameda.
