Paul Frederick Washeleski, 81, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully on July 15, 2019. He was born in Jamesburg, NJ on June 22, 1938 to Barney and Esther Washeleski. Paul graduated from the National School of Conservation working as a Lake Patrolman at Lake Concow, CA, before retiring as a foreman from the Lake Tahoe Water District. He was married to Betty (nee Mead) in 1959 until her passing in 2004, and later married Ardeen Milano in January of 2005. He served in the United States Army, a reluctant parachuter, but fierce defender and devoted patriot. His passions included tinkering on his trucks and other mechanical things, fishing, collecting rare items and, as a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, historical family facts. He also collected friends and family around the country, living in Lake Concow, Gardnerville, NV, Branson, MS, and finally living out his days in Phoenix, AZ. He was always there for his family and friends, and could be counted on as being a straight shooter (in all senses of the term!) with a warm, mischievous smile.
Paul is survived and will be missed by Ardeen and several step-children; Dale (Barbara) Schwartz, Sally (Michael) Schwartz-Gorman, Jake Schwartz, Christopher Milano (Angi Leighton), Ken (Jolene) Milano, Renae (John) Blair, Tim Milano, and 14 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by step-son Ricky Schwartz.
Arrangements will be held at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85022 at 10:30 am on July 20, 2019.
