Paul was born on January 13, 1946 in Boston, Mass. & resided in Jamaica Plain, MA. Paul was always devoted to his Family of origin and Blessed Sacrament Church in Jamaica Plain, MA. where he worked & shared duties with his Mom, Helen Barber, while he was in High School.
Paul also sang in the Choir while at Blessed Sacrament Elementary School.
He successfully graduated from Mission Church High School in Roxbury, MA. He attended Hyannisport Caddie Camp on Cape Cod during his Summers off from High school.
He entered the US Air Force in 1965 & served loyally for 4 long years, spending 2 of those in West Pakistan.
In November 1968, Paul happily married his Wife, Judy Barber; in March 1972 Paul and his Wife, Judy had their only child, Dominic Barber. Paul was an exceptional Husband and Father. Paul loved to play the Drums and was in a Band called, Starburst with his longtime Friend, Dario.
Paul’s Wife, Judy, met her demise in 2010 after a long illness. In addition, Paul worked for the Maricopa County Hospital for about 30 years.
Paul is preceded in death by his loyal Son, Dominic, his youngest Brother Richard Barber in McKinney, TX & his Fiancé, Isabel Hay, his Sister-In-Law, Maria Barber in Hull, MA, his in laws and nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for Paul will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuaries Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013. A Funeral mass will occur Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 8620 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020. A Graveside service will occur Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:45 PM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
