One of the sweetest people I ever knew. I’m so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Patterson opened her home and fed me countless times and was like a mother to me. Some of my best high school memories I have was with the Patterson family. Her sweet demeanor and kindness I will never forget.

Mom,
I did it! I went to the "Greening of the Fountain" without you.  It was hard, but I did it because you had told me before you died that you wanted  me to keep living and doing the things that we always did together.  Mom, I miss you so much....but I'm trying to keep going without you.

Mom, I realized that today will be the first time in over 30 years that you will not be sitting next to me for the "Greening of the Fountain".

I am sad to hear of Nancy’s death, but so grateful to know she is with her Lord.

I will always remember her kind heart towards her family. 
She always opened up her home for fun get togethers for all us kids. 
Whenever I went to the Christian book store she would take time out to catch up with me. 
She was an example of Christ, and a very special woman.
I will be praying for the family in the months ahead as they grieve the loss of their dear, sweet mama.

On January 24th, one of my most favorite people ever went home to Jesus. 

There will never be enough words to describe her or what she meant to us. Earth won’t be the same without her, but her legacy will live on in each and every one of us. Her faith in God is something she held onto until she took her last breath. I will forever strive to have a love, passion, and faith like she always had. It was unwavering.

Who wouldn't love this precious sister? We connected in 1981 when my kids and I transferred to Palmcroft and i joined Director Nancy Jo in AWANA Guards as one of her leaders. We became fast friends and prayer partners, keeping in touch even after moving away in '99, visiting when I could. I'm grateful for our last few meetings in October '21. I so look forward to eternity with her and am warmed as I consider Nancy Jo in heaven with our Savior, my mama , grandson Mason and all she knew that loved His appearing. Hallelujah praise be to God ... "well done"! Enjoy your reward! See you in His time.

Nancy Jo and I had the best visits every Wednesday while I volunteered at Fellowship Square. We shared lots of stories and dreams! She was the most magical little person! She gave me more joy than words can ever tell. Her faith and love are such a beautiful inspiration. I will miss her so much and will never forget her sweet smile and infectious laugh. My best love to her amazing family.

I miss my sweet great friend and neighbor.  
Nancy Jo  had a great smile and was so quick to appreciate everything and anything anyone did for her.
She trusted God in everything.  So often she would tell how she prayed for God to help her in the little things of life. 
She loved her family and would share many of the things her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren did or said, or sent to her. 
She now is with Jesus.  She wanted to go to heaven just as soon as she was told that her life here would not be much longer.   However, it was so important to her to tell everyone she knew how much they meant to her and to thank them for anything or everything they did for her.
She is missed by many friends and will continue to be missed for a long time.

I am thankful for the many hours that Nancy Jo and I talked with each other on the phone.  I am also thankful for the times we spent together when I visited.
