95, was born on September 6, 1918 in Phoenix, AZ where she lived until her death on December 5, 2013. She follows her husband Ray Martinez (1918-2003) of whom she was married to for 64 years. Minnie and Ray were involved with the American Legion Post 41 from its inception. She retired from the City of Phoenix where she was in charge of the Information Desk at City Hall for several years. Minnie is survived by daughter, Norma Kiermayr; son Gilbert Martinez; sister Molly Lopez; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered for her humor, loving nature and her caring of family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made, in her honor, to the Arizona American Legion Child and Youth which was of special interest to Minnie and Ray.
