August 1, 1948 - February 9, 2017
Mike peacefully left this world with his brother by his side to enter in to the world of freedom. There in this new world he is able to walk, run and ride with family and friends.
Mike was born in Chariton, Iowa to the proud parents of Harold and Helen Peterson. In his teen years, he moved to Parker Arizona until the Army came calling. Serving in the army two years leaving as a decorated Vietnam veteran. He returned to Parker, Arizona later he moved to Mesa, Arizona to live with his sister.
Mike is survived by his sister Rebecca Ann Peterson Clegg and her husband Terry Clegg, a brother David Peterson and wife Lupe Peterson, niece Michaelina Peterson and three nephews, Gary and Ray Peterson and Nathaniel Clegg.
Services will be held on February 16, 2017 at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary 200 W Beardsley Rd. Phoenix AZ. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix AZ. 85024.
