I believe this is the Kurt Ruiz that i went to school with. I was just thinking of him the other day too and finally I remembered his last name. I went online to search and ran across this.   I remember his mom she worked in the cafeteria at our school and I remember he had a sister named Ginger.  I went to school with him for several years.   I am very sad to know he passed; I would have loved to see him again.  My condolences to his family,

I am so deeply sorry to hear about Kurt. My heart breaks for you Uncle Ed, Aunt Pat, Ginger and Greg, and to his girlfriend and children! I remember the fun memories we had growing up as kids when we would come to AZ to visit. I pray that God gives you the peace and strength you need to heal from this terrible loss and to hold on to the memories you have. Having someone leave us at such an young age is even more unbearable.  "When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind." My deepest condolences to Kurt’s friends, family and loved ones, I'm truly sorry for your loss. When I heard Kurt had passed it was hard for me to understand what had happened, I was in disbelief.  We all have had people that come into our lives and change us forever, for me that was Kurt.  Even though we have not seen each other for a very long time, we kept in touch. I considered him a very dear friend and words cannot express how important he was to me.  It gives me some comfort to know that Kurt was loved by the people in his life and will be remembered.  He was a wonderful man, and the world is less bright without him in it.  Rest in peace my beloved friend, I will never forget you.

My deepest condolences to the Ruiz Family. I was so sad to hear of Kurts passing. I will always remember the fun times and not so fun times we shared growing up on 37th Avenue. We had a great neighborhood of families. From dressing up at Halloween, playing ditch em after dark, football/baseball, tag in the streets and yards, and pushing cars out of the road at 37th Ave/Thunderbird after a huge monsoon storm, we had some great times. I’m sure I have some funny Halloween pictures of us all dressed up. I know the Ruiz family was there for us when we lost my brother, Eric and we are forever grateful.  Thinking of you all and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.   RIP Kurt ❤️ 

RIP my friend.  We built some great memories and I'll always cherish them.

Kurt was the Love of my life.  He was my Best Friend, my Soul Mate, my Confidant, my shoulder to lean on. I use to tell him God sent me an Angel, and that Angel is you. He would always say, no God sent you to me.  I will miss are long talks, his smile and laughter his love for music (knowing every word to billions of songs. Then being able to name a song and the group within just a couple of notes).  That farting was the funniest thing.  But mostly I will miss waking up to his handsome face, his sweet kisses, his smell, and his arms wrapped around me. You will always be in my heart.  I Love You Homie, with all my Heart and Soul. RIP My Love.

Y’know when something hits you so fast it almost feels unreal? Well losing your dad is that exact feeling. It’s in your head that he’s no longer with you but, you just can’t believe that it’s true. You had much time to prepare but you didn’t take it seriously thinking he would recover. Every memory that you had with him was took for granted. And what hurts most is that our smallest conversation happened to be our last. I’ll miss you everyday dad, Rest In Peace.. <3

I am very sad to hear that our neighbor (from when I was a kid) 
Kurt Ruiz passed away this weekend.  His parents, Pat and Ed Ruiz and sister Ginger have stayed in contact with me and my family over the years.  Kurt was the same age as my younger sister Darcy and were just the cutest little kids.  We called him "Kurt-see" back then.  Much LOVE and prayers to Kurt's family, loved ones and friends.
