Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Kay was a woman of many talents and passions. From a young age, she displayed an incredible knack for both artistic endeavors and business acumen. Whether she was sewing, painting, decorating, or crafting beautiful art projects, her creativity knew no bounds. She found joy in art, landscaping, decorating/design and cooking, and her home was often filled with her latest arts and crafts, each creation a testament to her skill and imagination.
Kay was a sharp and thoughtful businesswoman, with a particular interest in real estate. Her mind was always working on new projects and ideas, especially those that could benefit others. She poured her heart into supporting causes that were close to her heart—Native American rights, veterans, disabled persons, underprivileged children, and people with learning disabilities, among others. Her generosity and desire to make a difference were evident in the many organizations she contributed to throughout her life.
A loving mother, wife, grandmother, and sister, Kay is survived by her two children, Kathryn and Lawrence, and her beloved grandchildren Noah, Matthew, Michael, and Sara. She is also survived by her sister, Judy, along with extended family and many friends who were touched by her kindness and spirit.
Kay will be remembered not only for her talents and accomplishments but for her caring nature and her unwavering desire to help others. She was a true inspiration, always finding ways to make the world a better place through her actions, big and small. Her legacy of love, creativity, and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held on March 28 at 2pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery followed by a reception at 10510 E. Terra Dr. Scottsdale, AZ, where friends and family are invited to share their memories and honor her journey. Service to be officiated by: Reverend Glenn Swain
