Joshua Beaudoin, a loving father, partner, and son, who shared his love with countless friends, passed away suddenly and quietly on the afternoon of June 8th. He was a trusted, loyal friend to innumerable people, both socially and professionally, and will be deeply missed by all.
Josh was born on January 11, 1974, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He graduated from Heritage High School in Littleton, CO and attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. After leaving Fort Lewis he took a consummate interest in sound, first with a rock band, then on to sound design at facilities and eventually multimedia design at major venues including arenas and professional sports stadiums. His employment history included Electromedia of Colorado, Harmon Music Group, and Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon and Williams (WJHW) where he became a principal. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Clair Global Integration.
He is survived by his partner, Rebecca Dobbs; his children, Aspen and Alder Beaudoin and Jack Dobbs all of Phoenix; his father and stepmother, Bob and Bobbie Beaudoin of Reno, NV; his mother, Teri Wilson and stepfather Ed Freeman, of Lee’s Summit, MO; two brothers, Jesse Freeman of Kansas City, MO and Dylan Claussen of Reno, NV; and numerous extended family members.
Josh’s circle of friends extended locally and around the world. He had a passion for music, photography, art and sports which he was able to enjoy as he travelled extensively. He was a wonderful person to be around, whether in a business or a social environment, or even just to hang out with and waste some time. For this reason, a Celebration of Life is being planned for later this summer for all his friends and family. A Celebration of Life website, JoshBeaudoin.com, operational shortly, will provide all the details. In addition to the website, the timing and location of the Celebration will be posted on Josh’s Facebook page.
A small, private, immediate family gathering was held locally to honor his life. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Josh Beaudoin Children’s Education Fund. The mechanisms for sending donations will be posted on the Celebration of Life website as soon as it is available, secure and operational.
