Joe Anthony Muñoz III

Our hearts are broken with the loss of our son Joe Muñoz III. Baby Joe will live on in our the hearts and memories. Joe's great integrity, honesty and his loyalty were beyond bounds. He was the most sensitive soul! Joe excelled at everything he put his hands too. He completed his general college courses by independently paying for them through tuition reimbursement. He was preparing to start his major at ASU. He promoted himself through his hard work ethic to a Senior Engineering Technician by climbing the ladder through multiple departments within the City of Phoenix. He disciplined his body and worked out to stay healthy and in shape! He loved Muy Thai & did that for several years. Joe skated & played the guitar, drums and piano. He played baseball from T-ball through his time at Apollo high school. He also played football with Pop Warner. He also was Miami Dolphins fan.

Joe was always “BIG BRO” to all his siblings! Most of all he was a perfect delightful son. So many memories are filled with Joe's smiles, joy and intelligence.

Joe joins his Tata Joe, Uncle Anthony and many other family members in Heaven. Joe is survived by his Parents Joe and Yvette, siblings Fernando, Orlando, Jasmine, and Jeremiah. Nani Cristina, Nana Becky, 8 Tio’s, 4 Tia’s and many cousins who will miss him dearly.

A visitation for Joe will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 4715 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012. A committal service will occur Friday, March 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008.
