This was the last time I went to visit you and the last picture we took together. You said a prayer over me that day, like you usually do. You always told me jokes about me. Like me eating my cheese burgers with no cheese or meat. Or my ripped pants I used to wear when I was a teenager. I remember when I was a little girl I was writing a story and I couldn’t spell one word. So my mom made me call you. I don’t know why but I was so nervous to ask you because it was a easy word. But you told me how to spell it. You even kept my ugly girl  statue in your room I made in middle school. You would always play my dads music and I loved that. You were always there for me or my mom whenever we needed something. I am forever great-full that I grew up with you as my grandpa. I’ll miss you joking to me. I’ll miss your prayers you sent me. But I know you are with me. I have the gold swan to prove it. I love you forever. Your granddaughter Trinidad.

That is how I addressed you every time I see you or phone you. It’s so funny every time I called you. You would answered  “pizza hut “ or “Peter piper pizza”  few of many characteristic ways of you being You. Tyler does it too.

Every time I needed to talk, I knew I can always find you outside..like if you were waiting for me. We would talk for hours alone outside, no matter the mood or weather. You were always available for me. I am grateful of that.

I always come too you for advice. With your stern voice telling me how to handle my situation good or bad. Thank you! for being strong with me.
One chilly night, I was craving grilled hotdogs, Tyler & Aleana wanted burgers.  Dad was not expecting us but, he was surprised! Knowing it was late..I still came with everything You quickly started a small fire we went inside and you mixed the meat with your special sauce & a grated onion. You said: this will make the burgers juicy. We all went outside, Mom waited indoor.. We had a BIG spotlight hanging over us, fire keeping us warm,. The burgers & dog smelling good on a chilly dark night.  Nothing matter after that. All of this was done perfectly.  Tyler, Aleana & I continue to talk about how the burgers were so juicy  that chilly night Tata made us.

I don’t know where to begin with this gentleman right now . So I’m just gonna throw it all out there !! Thank you for everything you ever did for us . You was always there for our family it’s crazy how when we first meet each other we clicked you kinda I remember seating out side of the old by the punching bag you wearing explaining how you got everything in the yard to the boat to the cars and all the bikes and weight seat you wear actually eating a full course meal grandpa! I wasn’t even shy you walked me in to your life that day .. oh man I like the way you talked to everyone it would give me the giggles . You didn’t even give me time to talk you had so many stories to tell . Haha . Thank you for being there for me when I had my accident you picked up my bike took me to the place I need to be . ... your in a better place now will be able to ride in the clouds one day . I miss you .. you would always talk about the brisket . Hahaha . I called you grandpa from the start I never knew your name until a few backs . I love you . We actually had a lot of memories you was like my grandpa grandpa thank you Superman I know your watching over is from planet cripton !!!! Thanks for giving me such a touching answer when I last seeen you our conversation is on replay in my head . you said I’m a very positive person that you love I’m around and I was a little kid that grew in to a man of the time we meet each other !!!! I love you so much grandpa . Thanks for giving me your blessings . Me and trini and Korina will have you in our heart .

To my loving crazy dad who I’m missing so much right now. I’m so glad we were able to rebuild our father daughter relationship these past years. I’m gonna miss all ure crazy stories about you and ure brothers even the stories jst about you. I’m gonna miss calling u on the phone telling u are u watching that Elvis or western movie playing on tv right now and u wld say which one and I wld tell u the name of the movie and u wld say “oh yeah I knw that one, what channel.” Then u wld say ok u watch it over there and I will watch it over here then call me bck when it’s over and we will talk about the movie. Now it will be only me watching the movies for us. I jst want u to knw dad that u were always there for me no matter what was going on u wld drop what u were doing to come rescue me. But u also taught me how to take care of myself and to nver let anyone take advantage of me. You always show me how to stand up to what I believe in and nver settle for less. Be good up in heaven and take care of Lucy for us and I will see u soon.. Love ure #1 daughter Glorialee( our lil secret)

Tata you were such a bright soul that always made us smile every time me, Kiana & little Gilbert went over. Always passing out money you crazy old man! But your love was what we always loved receiving from you. Growing up you created the best memories that I’ll always talk about. Thank you for calling me the day Mila was born and seeing her before you entered heaven. You’re the best great Tata & keep drinking all that coffee up above to keep up with Mila & the rest of us. We love you so much & we’ll see you soon. 

I remember my tio, when we used have family get togethers. It was the most happiest  of my family memories. We used to go to my tio's and tia's house to see everyone there. I remember listening  to music and watching my cousins dancing.I miss all of that! I remember him taking me in his home when I was a knucklehead,  he made sure I was safe and had a place to sleep.Thank you, tio for  watching over me, hope all the GARZAS  that are not with us, are together with peace and serenity, you will be missed! Love you!

You were always here for us all, putting aside yourself for our needs. You had a brave heart, strong hands & shoulders that seemed to carry the weight of world. You were our personal Super Man with a heart of gold. And I will forever carry all of your memories with me. Especially every time you called me to go outside to look at the moon with you. You said to always look at the moon & we'll always have you.  And Angel will forever love and miss you, you were not just his tata you were the only father figure he had. Angel will always remember the words you told him, you always said you saw yourself in him. You were two peas in pod. Always & forever your baby girl & your big boy loving you to the moon & back
