Georgia Nettie Parrish

Georgia was born in Tennessee March 9, 1928. She moved to Chicago as a young adult with her husband and 2 sons in the early 1950s and in 1991 she retired from Fiat Allis and moved to Arizona to join her 2 sons and grandchildren. Georgia loved Arizona and always said she was done with her travels because she felt as though she was living in a resort at her Chandler home and this was heaven.

She loved traditions, such as Christmas dinner, Christmas was her favorite holiday. She cooked southern style and has passed on her fried chicken recipe, white beans and banana pudding to her granddaughters. She also loved dogs & hardly ever lived her life without one or two!

She is survived by her sons, Stephen A Parrish, Sr, (wife Terry), Kerry G Parrish, (wife Bobbie), 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She will be missed.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 at 11:00 am at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E Southern Avenue, Phoenix AZ 85042.
