Gayla Myra Torbett McElvain went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 19, 2018.
Gayla was predeceased by her parents Mabel & Granville Torbett, 4 sisters, 1 brother, 2 daughters, April Ballard, Melissa Ballard. Gayla leaves behind her loving and faithful husband of 47 years Fred McElvain, 2 sons Kendal Ballard, Damon & Elizabeth McElvain, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Gayla was a Arizona Native born July 29, 1934. She graduated from Phoenix Union High in 1952. Gayla raised her family to know God and she loved life. Her family will miss her laughter, the sound of her voice, and her loving embrace. We all look forward to the day when we shall all be together.
