Fredrick "Ricky" Ross, our brother, our friend, our sometimes hero, went all the way home August 29,2018. He was many things good, many things kind, a hard worker, tender hearted, and a smile that shined as bright as life. Rick was a favorite with nieces and nephews as he happily created and participated in playful mischief with them. Rick graduated from Alhambra High School, then attended Northern Arizona University on a football scholarship. After college, Rick worked in construction many years with Shiya-Strephans. Rick is survived by 2 brothers George and Bradley and sister Kimbralee, and nieces Tricia, Kristen, Jamie and Tayler, and nephews Brian and Austen and cousins. My brother and I spoke of God many times when we were together, sharing thoughts and questions. So rest now Ricky, in eternal peace. You are loved and will be missed and I hope to see you again sitting at our Fathers feet, getting all your questions answered. In lieu of flowers: an act of kindness to a homeless individual. A bottle if water, a meal, socks, a blanket, kneeling in prayer for comfort, just listening to their story or volunteering at a shelter. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 13th from 2-4 pm at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary 710 West Bethany Home Road Phoenix, Arizona 85013.
