Ernestina enjoyed shopping, spending time with family, dancing and was known to wear scrubs as her attire in her later years. Ernestina was preceded by her husband Daniel Hernandez Sr., Son Daniel Hernandez Jr., sister Josephine Portillo and brother George Portillo. She is survived by Daughter Mercy P. Hernandez, Son Miguel P. Gonzales, Granddaughters Ernestina P. Hernandez, Brianna A. Hernandez, Amiyah Gonzales, Grandsons Angel Hernandez, Miguel Gonzales Jr., Vincent Gonzales and three great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Wila will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Maryvale, 6901 West Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85033. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
