Donna Jean Schmidt, age 65 of Tempe, AZ, passed away May 5, 2012. She was born January 8, 1947, in Phoenix; Donna was active with Girl Scouts, her church community and loved all her grandbabies dearly. Donna is survived by her daughters; Deniece (Fred) and Darla (Alfredo); granddaughters; Mari-lyn and Isabel; her sister, Glenda; and niece, Jami (Joe), and other family members and friends. Memorial services will be held at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix, on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley or to the Lutheran Cursillo Movement of Arizona.
