Donalda Helen Potter

Donalda Potter, 88, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on December 04, 2022.

Donalda was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl Bennett, her sister Olivia Chamberlain and her mother Ona Packard. She is survived by her husband Bill of 71 years, her 5 children Mark, Kevin, James, Timothy and Anne, her foster son Steven Schneider, her 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Donnie grew up in Highland Falls, NY. She met her husband, Bill and they married in 1951. Over the years they had 6 children and fostered numerous other children. She put herself through college and became a registered nurse. They moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1978 where Donnie worked at the VA hospital. In 1989 they moved to Chestertown, NY where she devoted her time to doing hospice care. In 2005 they moved back to Arizona where they enjoyed retirement.

Donnie was a devoted mother and wife, always caring for others. We can be joyous that Donnie is with her creator and is not struggling anymore. She will be missed greatly by everyone.

Her celebration of life is December 14th, 10am, at Camelback Bible Church, Phoenix, AZ.
