He was born the oldest of three on August 24, 1930 in Hamlet, Indiana to Carl and Doris Ferch. He married Arliss (deceased) on June 2nd 1951 and lead a full life with their children. Penny (& Dale) Booher, Barry Ferch (deceased), April (& Don) Gardner, Barbara Cleveland, Melissa (& Roger) Slaughter and their many grandchildren : Crista, Jeremy & Robyn, Samantha & Jessica, Tammy, Lori & Jodi, Janice, JP, Malinda & Donald and Jason & Justin. His legacy also includes 31 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He went to be with Jesus, peacefully in his home on 2/13/2018 at the age of 88. A celebration of his life will be held at the family home on March 16, 2019.
