Deborah Lee Schlink

Debbie passed away Saturday 2/11/17 at Surprise Hospice of the Valley, with family at her side.

Debbie was born to Bobby and Marie Pickering on August 30, 1951, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Debbie graduated from Washington High School in June of 1969, and took classes at Glendale Community College.

Debbie worked for Lucky Stores of Phoenix for 10 years, Kroger Stores in Phoenix at the corporate offices for 5 years. She also worked for Nevada Title in Las Vegas for 5 years, the Deer Valley School District as an Administration Assistant for 4 years, and the Casa Grande School District for 2 years.

Recently, Debbie volunteered on several occasions with Helping Hands for Single Moms.

Debbie is survived by her husband Marshall of 43 years, mother Marie Pickering Brewster, brothers Art and Beecher Pickering, and sister Cindy Apodaca. Two Daughters Amy Razum, Carrie Elliott, five grandchildren Brittany Jackson, Ashley Elliott, Megan Elliott, Ryan Elliott, Nathan Elliott, and two great grandchildren Ellie Jo, and Adilyn. She was proceeded in death by her father Bobby, and brother George Pickering.

Services for Debbie will be at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary on Friday February 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM, 710 W. Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
