Colleen Wanda Davey

Colleen was born in Peever, SD to Carl and Nell Johnson. In December 1955 she married Robert Gene Davey. They raised three daughters, Carla, Carolyn, and Tami. She gave birth to a son, Mark, who died soon after birth.

Colleen had a kind and compassionate spirit and was known for her willingness to help anyone in need. The importance of her family was made apparent time and again as she made many sacrifices to provide support when family was in need. Many remember her fondly for her servanthood. She had a deep love of the Lord spending many hours in her bible and praying for others. She loved music, singing and playing the piano.

Colleen was preceded in death by her father, Carl, her mother Nell, her husband, Robert, her daughter, Carla, her son, Mark, her brothers Galen, Jimmy and Carl Jr., sisters Laverna Aadland, Audrey Knudtson and Marilyn Evjen. She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn and Tami, her brothers Gary and Wendell, her sister Verla, 10 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Colleen will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. A Celebration of Life service will occur immediately after from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a graveside service. A reception will then be held from 12:45 PM to 2:45 PM at same location.
