Carol Anne was born in Chicago, Illinois to Harriet (Hap) and Lloyd (Rex) Reckner on December 3, 1941. Ever curious, Carol Anne had a variety of careers over her life, including: nun; librarian for The Library of Congress in Washington DC, Northern Arizona University, and Lassen elementary school in Phoenix; Alhambra school board member; owner, operator, and producer of spun and dyed wool and goods from the sheep raised on 4 acres in the Verde Valley. She spent her life in pursuit of knowledge, always excited and willing to share her expertise, she taught everywhere she went. Her formal education culminated in a Doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2001 from NAU but she never stopped learning.
Carol Anne is survived by her children, Dawn Munson, Leif Munson & spouse Nicki Serio, grandchild Isabelle, dear cousins Ellen Levy Finch, Ann Burns, Linda Levy, Susan Levy, Sharon Williams, and their children.
