Betty Sue Luster, 84, passed away on October 2, 2015. She was born on October 1, 1931 in Wade, Oklahoma. Betty’s parents, Dave and Katie Nobley brought her and her brother, Willard, to Arizona in 1942. Betty attended Phoenix Union High School, graduating in 1949 and was the co-chair of her class reunions for all these many years. She was a “Coyote” thru and thru. Betty and her husband Tom, raised Stacey (Demland) and Gary Luster and was a Grandmother and Great Grandmother in addition to being Aunt Betty to a host of relatives.
She will be remembered as a lady who was constantly keeping in touch with former “Coyotes” and family, never forgetting a birthday or graduation. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church 3901 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Christ Lutheran Church towards the Christ Prepares and Celebrate Recovery programs. Please place: “Luster – CP/CR” in the memo line.
