Alda B. Wilson

Alda B. Wilson, 91, of Peoria, AZ, passed away on October 6, 2010. She was born in Armagh Township, PA, on October 25, 1918 to Oliver and Florence (Baker) Shank. She was married to James S. Wilson, who preceded her in death in 1970. Alda worked as an aide at Arizona State Hospital and retired after 30 years. She was also preceded in death by her son, James A. Wilson, sister, Jane Glass and brothers, Marlin, Alvin, Glenn and David Shank. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Kaufman (Robert) of Milroy, PA, Barbara Wilson of Tempe, AZ and Susan Correll (Dennis) of Peoria, AZ, 9 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, sisters, Erma Nale and Ruth Hoar, both of Milroy, PA and Donna Briner of Sun Lakes, AZ, and brother, Kenneth Shank of Milroy, PA. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. with Funeral Services at 10:00 A.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Apostle Lutheran Church, 7020 W. Cactus Rd., Peoria, AZ 85381.
