Loverne Maria Warren, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 48. She was born on May 26th, 1976, in Savannah Georgia to Louise Wilson Nixon (Harry Nixon) and Jimmy Wilson Sr. Loverne. She was a proud graduate of Spencer High School Class of 1995 and attended Columbus State University where she graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science. She worked as an LPN at both Martin Army Hospital on Ft. Moore, Georgia and Regional Rehabilitation Hospital of Phenix City, Alabama for multiple years.
Loverne was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Edward Taylor Warren, and is survived by their two sons Keyshawn and Kamden Warren both of Phenix City, Alabama. Loverne also has two grandsons, Kyler and Karter Warren.
She is also survived by her brothers, Jimmy Wilson II (Shawnee Wilson), Gregory Wilson, and Lee Nixon (Sophia Nixon). Her sisters Keisha Wilson Moorer, Toneisha Wilson Brantley (Marques Brantley), and Shaneitra Nixon. Loverne leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Loverne will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at First Assembly of God Church in Phenix City, Alabama with Pastor Nelson Lugo officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the church prior to the service.
