Larry Norton Sr.

Larry Ronald Norton, Sr., 68, of Phenix City, Alabama, died Wednesday August 10, 2011 in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm EDT Sunday August 14th in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 N, Phenix City, Alabama, with interment in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 4pm until 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Norton was born December 21, 1942 in Columbus, GA. son of the late Luico and Jewell Bell. Other than his parents Mr. Norton is preceded in death by his daughter, Trina Fay Barfield and brother Louie S. Norton.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Kathy Norton of Phenix City, his children, Phillip Norton and wife Sylvia, Joyce Armour, Teresa Johnson, Debbie Tallman, Larry Norton, Jr., David Norton, Joseph Norton and wife Tracy, sisters, Mary McFarlin, Sandra Blanton, Donna Hammock, Cathy Carver , Sharon Williams, Jewell Norton,Faye Norton,Dottie Norton, brothers, Jimmy Parker, Frankie Norton, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
