Bobby "Br" Ray Richardson Sr.

Bobby Ray Richardson Sr., age 88, of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 3:00 P.M. in Lakeview Memory Gardens Monday, January 3, 2022. The family will receive friends from 2:00 .M. to 3:00 P.M. at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL.

Bobby was born June 10, 1933 in Phenix City, Alabama; son of the late George Washington Richardson and Rosa L. Overstreet Richardson. He served in the US Army and was self-employed in the auto industry.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Richardson, son, Bobby Ray Richardson, Jr. and his sister, Yvonne Short.

Survivors include his sons, George Michael Richardson of Salem, AL, Randall Scott Richardson and wife, Sherry of Fortson, GA, long time companion, Tammy Yancey of Smiths Station, AL; grandchildren, Nicole Richardson Rhinehart (Andrew), Randall Scott Richardson, Jr., Bobby Ray Richardson, III, Tiffany Richardson, Tyler Richardson, Zach Vinson (Christina) and his great grandchildren, Jax Rhinehart, Ella Kate Vinson, Raelynn Grace Richardson and Olivia Richardson.
